Justine is a freelance illustrator. She is inspired by inclusive and benevolent feminist themes, such as sisterhood. She questions the multiple representations of women by highlighting their strengths and pluralities, drawing soft, sunny and colourful portraits.

Her palette draws its vitality from contrasts. The diluted hues of watercolour spread over thick, saturated chalk. While the coloured pencils trace contours and lightness, the flat tints profile a world of coloured shadows.
