My name is Eva Lamaignere, I am 27 years old and I come from a small village in the Landes, in Aquitaine. At the beginning, nothing predisposed me to fall into the art world… For my family and my entourage, it is a rather unknown sector, however, I fell into it. Ever since I was a child, I have always had an attraction for drawing. An attraction so strong that it gradually became a passion and a refuge, especially since my adolescence. At that time, I paint, I draw in my room. I don’t show my work, out of discretion, for fear of judgment.

Self-taught at heart, I learned painting alone and all art techniques: knife, watercolour, acrylic… I tested, I loved, I hated, I improved…

Of a joyful and friendly character, my works are the reflection of my emotions: a real explosion of colours! I like it when it’s peppy, when it’s colourful, when it’s dynamic, when you feel an emotion in the eyes of my characters.

Let’s go back to the fact that I am passionate about my work and that I am sharing my paintings with you today. It only took a click… for me to finally show my work to the world. In March 2021, a key date for me, I post the first photo of me with a portrait made with a knife on my social networks and a friend buys me this painting. I continue to paint and show my work and all of them sell immediately. I am touched and disturbed at the same time. I don’t understand what is happening to me. So much benevolence that I didn’t think I was entitled to. Two months later I created my company and I was contacted for an international exhibition in Milan, Italy and a local one in Pau, France. I was excited and confused, but I went for it. The same year I exhibited in Madrid, Stockholm and soon in Paris.

The year 2021 will remain my most beautiful year.
